Real 1757 Mexico, minted in Mexico City (M with o above). Assayer M = Manuel de la Pena.
Spanish king Ferdinand VI. Obv. leg: .FRD.VI.D.G.HISP.ET.IND.R. Rev. leg: VTRA.QUE.VNUM which means "Both are One" and refers the two globes between the pillars of Hercules. The pillars carry the additional text "PLUS ULTRA", meaning "More Beyond"
